The checkout area in this lowes is the worst checkout experience I have ever had in a home improvement store. They try to force everyone to the auto checkout area. And there are lowes staff members just walking around and talking while everyone waits for there turn to check thereselfs out. Even more frustrating when you use a payment method that the machines don't accept. Manager here is not good in my opinion for letting there checkout area turn into my negative experience. I've been to the store about ten times over the past month and never was happy at checkout. Always something weird going on at the registers.
Better than expected. Friendly people, good stock of led replacement bulbs and metric fasteners. No cr1616 batteries, though.
Worst customer service ever. Spent lots of time selecting new carpet, ordered a month ago, no follow up from Lowe's, called several times to check on status and was promised return calls that never came. Finally, after 5:00 on Saturday evening a month later, I'm told there was a "glitch" and my order was never placed and now the manufacturer doesn't have the carpet I selected. So now I start over again somewhere else. Sigh.
The customer service was terrible. The employee told me, "I was pissing him off", because I asked questions about the washer and dryer I wanted to purchase.
Complete lack of customer service coupled with a huge amount of disdain for your time. Stick to Home Depot just down the road and you will be happier.
