This is one of the best tracks I have ever run on. It is "European" in style, meaning that it's a little wider with gentler turns than "American" style, and the surface is so soft that I can run barefoot.
Great place to watch a soccer game. The seating is not very comfortable.
The UNC Women's Soccer team won the national championship in 2012 but I saw them lose twice at Fetzer Field to Florida and Florida State. The final game is all that matters though. Fetzer Field is one of the better soccer/lacrosse facilites in the ACC. In fact, the Carolina students do a great job of filling it up for big mens and womens soccer games that are played. The only restrooms are outside the stadium which is an issue.
