Care and concern with immediate response. Worth the drive
Drs and testing staff were good, billing and patient appointment set up horrible. I was told they couldn't send me an email confirmation of my appointment, the girl who called to set up the appt was pretty clueless about every question I asked her. Then I was transferred 3 times the next day when I called back to find out more about the bills for the upcoming appt. The 2nd person I spoke with kept telling me I needed to call back our GP 'who set up the appt.' and I kept telling her UNC Hospitals called to set up the appt. Clueless and frustrating.
We went in for an emergency hernia for my son and had a wonderful experience! In the future, we won't go anywhere else! Caring staff, excellent doctors,and efficient system in getting us in and out of surgery in a day! Awesome! Thanks Dr. Adamson!! Also, Carla was so great in the clinic!
The staff here is very knowledgeable and more importantly, they know how to relay the information in a way that both explains the situation and pits your mind at ease!!! This is the only hospital i will take my daughter Kairi to!!! 10 stars!!!
At times like these for families, it would seem appropriate to have someone on a switchboard that knows answers and directions.
THE worse experience yet - a telephone operator who cannot tell me how to find a waiting room while a friend is waiting while their child is in surgery. I just spent 15 minutes to be told repeatedly that there is only a waiting room for ICU and he doesn't know where that is. Thanks for no help!
