Carolina Meadows is a beautifully landscaped, hospitable and well-managed CCRC ! We are convinced it was the best choice we made for our retirement and enjoyment for years to come.
My parents purchased a villa about 15 years ago. They eventually transitioned to Assisted Living. After Dad passed away, Mom moved to The Green, and she is very content there. This was the BEST RETIREMENT DECISION THEY EVER MADE. I have visited them literally hundreds of times and each and every time the employees have been incredibly kind, caring and respectful. The residents there seem very worldly, and they appear to have educated palates. The food is outstanding, and fulfills the residents' needs and expectations. Five stars all day long!
Kitchen staff overall is a very good group to work with. Certain chefs with authority who been there for years are very complacent, stuck in their ways and very antagonistic because they feel intimidated by others which will throw the good benefits and $1 million kitchen renovation out the window. Culinary management sucks and still behind time. Horrible place to work as a cook. No matter how much you help others, they'll stab you in the back every day. Two weeks later the sous chef still bad mouth my name. So unprofessional.
The worst place ever to work
My grandmother lives here and it's phenomenal. I want to live here when I retire.
